How to Stay Healthy at Home
It is challenging to stay healthy when you are cooped up at home. But, there are many ways that you can make it happen! You need to still do some kind of physical activity. You can also still eat healthy and keep creative with your recipes. This is important so you don't get bored. Most importantly we need to keep mentally sane during this stressful time. Keep your mental state at top priority. Here are some of my favorite ways you can stay home and keep healthy!Workout :Sky Ting TV: This is for the Yoga lover. It's only $20 a month and has classes for every level.ClassPass Live: for those who have a ClassPass acct you can stream classes. They have everything you can think of from boxing, Pilates, strength training etc.And right now ClassPass is freezing accounts so you aren't wasting your credits or money. But can still stream!Tone it up: this you tube channel is completely free and is a totally body workout. They even have a quick workout for the busy mom's!Cooking:Cooking Podcast: The Splendid Table - they interview authors of cookbooks and they tell their stories behind the inspiration. Something to listen too and get inspired yourself!Cooking Ideas: the foodie magazine Bon Apetite has a you tube channel. They show you everything from how to make cocktails, homemade pasta, to using what you have in the pantry! And it's free.Cooking App: All Recipes - when you need a recipe for anything, all recipes has you covered. They do recipes of the day, and is a great community and forum to share recipes and feedback with each other.Mental Health:Journaling : Diario App- This is a digital journal. It guides you thought the process. We all need to get things out, even if it's just a few lines a day. Writing is something that can really help our mood, stress, and even depression. It is a form of therapy with ourselves.Guided Meditation: Headspace App- Meditation helps you feel centered and calms your body. This app starts at the beginning teaching you that everyone can meditate and how beneficial it is in all areas of our life.Breathing App: It's a stressful time for us all. We need to breath to stay healthy and alive. This app has videos and audio to help you through the proper steps to achieve calmness.
